Pasolini tell with a single image and 'reductive, since his path was so vast.
Six artists in this experiment will represent him in their own way,
Six works 60x80 to remember the forty 'years after his death.
With him disappeared the places of a lifetime, the houses landscapes and especially the simple people on the outskirts of Rome.
He loved to be photographed, narcissus and 'so often present in his poems.
Courageous and vital but also sweet and dreamy. In a book of interviews, "The job of a poet," he said: << The bottom of my character is not 'the malaise, but the gaiety, vitality, and this I showed itself not only in the' literary work but in life itself. I mean by vitality that 'love of life that coincides with gladness. And cheerful, lively, affectionate is in 'my intimate nature are the continuing anguish objective I faced that have exasperated aspects of my malaise >>.
The 'ultimate act of love it offers with the first film as Tramp or Mamma Roma, describing the anger of a reality now gone, boys of the villages who live in shacks and speak only Roman, roam the city with looks dramatic and spontaneous.
Down the same streets where the meetings took place to defend and represent the best that world.
It 's like a cry that makes us more aware of a real middle-class society, castrating and in full development.
We killed the poet one of the few of our twentieth century.

<< They fell role models and have been replaced by other models. This substitution was not wanted by the people, from the bottom, but were imposed by the new power ... >>
(Pasolini Next to Us).

<< My race is not 'a
ride but a being
dragged away with the body
slamming the dust
and on the stones. >>
(Pier Paolo Pasolini)
