Milazzo 15 and 16 December, returns Pigotta, the doll of UNICEF

Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December at Paladiana Milazzo with a lunch break from 10.00 to 20.00 the event returns to the UNICEF "Adopt a Pigotta."

Millions of children do not know the joy of Christmas and a peaceful future.

For this reason the Association Roberta Smedili you to obtain a Pigotta to make a special gift and at the same time to help save the lives of these children.

Even a small gesture can help them.

With a minimum bid of 20 euro you can take one of over 200 Pigotte made by friends of Roberta Smedili to enable UNICEF to each Pigotta sold, to give a child of an African country a life-saving kit and be seen and treated during its growth.

Every day 19,000 children worldwide die younger than 5 years for reasons that can be easily prevented or treated.

These children die from neonatal complications, pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria, measles, AIDS, malnutrition.

A Pigotta is a child waiting for help that may save his life.

In particular, the funds raised will fund the life-saving interventions for children in all the countries of West and Central Africa.

In these countries will be promoted by the "accelerated strategy for the survival and development of early childhood", which provides an integrated package of interventions, with food, vaccinations, vitamin A, mosquito nets and other essential tools for the survival of children.

The appointment is therefore to Paladiana Milazzo to adopt a Pigotta and save the life of a child.

Thanks also by all the children that this Christmas we can give a better future.
