3rd Competition of PAINTING and SCULPTURE " ARTISTS FOR UNICEF "
The City of Garlate - Department of Culture and events with the Provincial Committee of Lecco and UNICEF in collaboration with the Associazione Roberta Smedili - Project " Robert's smile for UNICEF " is organizing the third edition of the competition of painting and sculpture named " Artists x Unicef . "
The aim of the competition is to promote local artists to disseminate knowledge in national and international contexts , to support the UNICEF project "School and protection for street children in Bangladesh " through the participation of the winners of the contest organized by charity auction ' Associazione Roberta Smedili Milazzo from 30 May to 2 June , 2014, and at the same time promote and enhance the knowledge of the reconstituted Civico Museo della Seta Abegg Garlate jewel of industrial archeology , which will host the exhibition of the works of the competition.
The theme is free .
Registration is open until next April 15, 2014 .
Categories : CHILDREN (UNDER 18) and ADULTS .
The winners of the contest , selected by a panel of experts , will be donated to the Association Roberta Smedili that will auction in Milazzo ( ME) on 30 May to June 2, 2014 as part of the great event, " The smile of Roberta for UNICEF . "
The proceeds from this auction will be donated to UNICEF for the project " School and protection for street children in Bangladesh ."
All entries to the competition will be exhibited from May 24 to June 1, 2014 at the multi-purpose areas of the reconstituted Civico Museo della Seta Abegg Garlate during the " Week of UNICEF " characterized by artistic and musical events of great importance.
