The August 24, 2016 an earthquake measuring six on the Richter scale hit central Italy.
The most affected area was the one of the high valley of the Tronto, on the border between Lazio, Marche, Umbria and Abruzzo.
In particular it has been virtually razed the amateur and Accumoli centers (epicenter of the most intense shock) in Lazio, and Pescara del Tronto, in the municipality of Arquata del Tronto in the Marche.
The quake was felt from Rimini to Naples.
The official figures speak of 296 victims, while 238 people alive from the rubble were extracted.
The injured taken to hospital are 388.
We have always been neighbors through Robert's smile to the people suffering in many parts of the world, and do not succeed we felt at this particular time to get us back to help our brothers in central Italy.
We then organized on 1 and 2 October next at Paladiana glass room of the town of Milazzo, an exhibition with relative sale of paintings donated to 'Associazione Roberta Smedili by painters from various parts of Italy.
The proceeds of the sale will be donated through an IBAN dedicated to the municipality of Amatrice.
