Celeste Prize 2009 - Berlin

40,000 € prizes were awarded on 26 September to the five artists whose works received a majority of votes from fellow finalists. The awards ceremony was held in the City of Berlin's old electricity generating plant, the Alte AEG Fabrik, as part of a four day exhibition which ended on 28 September during Berlin’s Art Forum week. All five artists received prizes directly from Adrienne Goehler and Mark Gisbourne (two of the three members of the 2009 prize selection committee) and prize founder, Steven Music.
