Cosmesi dell’Arte
International Contemporary Art Exhibition
4 November – 2 December
with the patronage of The Department of Cultural Policies and of the Historical Center of City of Rome
The aim of the exhibition, which will involve Italian and international artists with no age limits and works with free theme and technique, is to promote and celebrate art in all its forms, with emphasis on its aesthetic qualities and potential benefits it can bring to the body and spirit.
The work loaded with new meaning, regaining possession of its starring role in the daily cultural experience, creating an emotional tension that joins the great masters with new generations of art.
The exhibition will take place in the headquarter of The Epireo Art Gallery, a prestigious showcase inserted in the context of one of the most popular district of Rome and a short walk from the famous Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano.
The event will involve the same team of experts who have organized numerous cultural events and sponsored by the Regione Lazio, Provincia di Roma, Comune di Roma and many other institutions and local governments, regional and national, including personal exhibitions of great masters of contemporary art like Vittorio Carpignano and Sandro Trotti.
The exhibition will take place from November 4 to December 2 (opening hours gallery) and each artist will be represented by two works which shall not exceed the limits of 60x80 cm (including frame) for painting, photography, drawing, etc..., for sculpture 80x40x40 cm; the videos should not be longer than 3 minutes.
During the exhibition the gallery could give a result of artistic collaborations with some deserving artists, in prestigious venues in Rome, and propose the possibility of publishing their works in an artistic roman magazine.
The participation is open to all Italian and foreign artists, regardless of age, engaged in the following disciplines: painting, photography, sculpture drawing, video art, digital art, ecc...
CHARACTERISTICS OF WORK: The theme is free as well as the technique, the size limit for the paintings, photographs, drawings, ecc… are 60x80 cm while for the sculpture are 80x40x40 cm; the videos should not be longer than 3 minutes.
SUBMIT: Artists wishing to participate to the exhibition must submit, not later than October 15, 2011, sending an email to epireoarte@yahoo.it or info@epireo.it with
- Biography (max 20 lines)
- 3-6 photos of real works between which will be selected the two works for the exhibition; in the name of the file indicate author, title, size, technique, year of execution.
- Application form completed and signed.
- Copy of the payment of the entry fee
The artists who will send a copy of the material without payment will be excluded.
ENTRY FEE: 65,00 € to partially cover the organizational costs.
The entry fee is inclusive of:
1. Exhibition of two works
2. Setting up and dismantling displays
2. Opening Vernissage
3. Brochure / Catalogue of the exhibition
4. Digital Invitations
5. Press office service (press release and spread advertising the event)
6. Communication to our contact lists
7. Graphic Design
