Autonomie Artistiche International Exhibition of Contemporary Art July 8 to 22, 2011 The Epireo Art Gallery, Rome Opening July 8, 17:30
Autonomie Artistiche, the new exhibition organized by The Epireo Art Gallery in collaboration with the Free Academy of Sciences and Arts “Alexandros” and sponsored by The Department of Cultural Policies and of the Historical Center of City of Rome, will take place from 8 to July 22 2011 at the Rome headquarters of the gallery.
About 40 artists participating at this new initiative which saw The Art declined in all its forms, from classical to fusion with new technologies, in a harmony of "good vibration" compelling and engaging, and with a strong stage presence which kidnaps the eye of the curious spectator. Curiousity, fun and positivity are the basis of these works without omitting, however, dreamlike worlds and moments of deep self-reflection. The term "Autonomy" was, then, the unifying factor of the exhibition and with the word "Artistic", expressed its determination to make good art even in a difficult period for the contemporary cultural scene, trying, "independently", to bring out the strong presence of national and international art.
The Vernissage will take place July 8 with the presence of the Director of Ages and art critic Dr. Mara Ferloni, the editor and publisher of “Segni d’Arte” Dr. Nicolina Bianchi and the historian and art critic Dr. Alessia Cervelli.
