Preview of exhibition of URBAN 2011 in Krakow, Poland

The association dotART back on display this summer abroad. From August 18 to 24 will be held internationally in fact a preview of URBAN 2011: a group exhibition of some impromptu finalists of the competition, staged at the Lokator, a prestigious restaurant in the center of Krakow, Poland.
The preview will display the works of Polish Polonara Alberto Aleksandra Kabakov, Alessio Bonatti, Alessio Scarpaccia, Christian Milotic, Cristiano Corsini, Emiliano Cavicchi, Henry Gyra, James Frullani, Julien Coquetin, Lawrence Schiff, Maria Orecchia, Olga Cabezas Paola Paleari, Roberto Cenci, Roberto Furlan, Roberto Srelz, Maisto Rosa, Sara Sbrissa, Silvia Boldrini, Simon Wisdom, Susanna Serri, Veronica Saracino, Victor Garrido.
Urban in 2011 took place from April 1 to May 31 and has been very successful participation, with over 800 works from photographs and processed in the race of digital art, for a total of 207 competitors from 27 countries (besides Italy: Germany , India, United Kingdom, Mexico, United States, but also Korea and Australia).

The works in the competition were selected by a jury of photographers, artists and media experts. Among the jurors also Frankie HI-NRG MC, the famous Italian rapper who alternates his career as a musician with that of curator of educational workshops, music video director and contributor to several newspapers. They were also part of the jury Fulvio Merlak Trieste, President of FIAF Executive Committee and Franco Pace, a professional photographer famous for his photos of the Barcolana. Wax and then the New York graphic designer Michael Samuel, who designed the logos of History Channel and the campaign of Hillary Clinton. There was Max Giacon, cartoonist, illustrator and teacher at the European Institute of Design in Milan, which boasts collaborations with designers such as Matteo Thun Mauro Tozzi, director of Visionary Art, International Film Festival, the Polish photographer Zbigniew Podsiadlo, the Luciano photographers Dolcini of Urbino in Florence and Edward Agresti (Nikon School Travel Coordinator) and Carolina Galbignani, art expert for children and photographer with several forays into the world of video and music production and events.
