With the end of metamorphosis do not want or understand an art group or a movement, or a current, but
linguistic unit a principle common to all the artistic expressions of the twentieth century that Julia Sillano, art historian
school Longhi, identified following a systematic analysis of the world of contemporary Italian and foreign
and experience of about 50 exhibitions, she herself made by high-profile sites, museums and historical monuments in
From 1994 to today: the metamorphosis.
Implicit in ancient art, it is transmitted to the language of modern art, giving rise to those phenomena so far
indicated by words such as abstract, informal, expressionist, minimalist or minimalist and others, who do not meet
longer confined to its own expression in a reference, this evolved to the point of inducing the author to a reformulation
including all possible facets of the art of the past fifty years, always convinced that the

They enter the great game of metamorphosis all those expressions of art, with this meaning Painting and Sculpture,
that, today, are able to integrate evolutionary dialogue with the historical avant-garde, adjusting appropriately to
conceptual and technical measures of our times. The intention, therefore, far from establishing yet another group, for
of these the history of art is even overcrowded, is to offer a new critical orientation to better characterize
the multiform of today's means of expression, except for video and for reasons inherent virtuality, of course, their
same nature.
The choice of artists on display are uniforms, therefore, and neither can it be otherwise, the concept of "metamorphosis", aimed
artistic expression to those totally devoid of elaborate figural although, where there are traces of it, is, in fact,
sporadic fragments radically revised: in fact a random incidence can occur figurative, but this is manifested by

the presence of very strong pictorial component, often contaminated with other materials, however, inclined to systems

the existence of "metamorphosis", implicitly admitted the documentary value of the absolute one painting to install, in fact,

"Formistico", as it uses the shape of things, organizing them into a kind of visionary architecture, bypassing
the important trans-mutative experience, that only the molding of art can justify in the name of true creation.
