This exhibition is the meeting of two artists who have always used their bodies.
Dancing in De Chirico and gestural in Bielli.
Pulling out of drawers, wardrobes and bookcases some works of the past, primordial works starting from the end of the 80s, 90s and 2000s to today.
Retracing his path as in a slow motion Bielli finds the photos of the models snatched from fashion magazines.
“I had disguised them, disfigured them, pierced them and dirtied them with sprays, sometimes circled them by focusing on their faces, even more beautiful after having somehow ruined them; it seems that time has made them rough, taking away that new, clean and untouchable patina.
Giving them a new life, truer, more experienced and more sincere".
But above all to reveal another type of beauty and not the one imposed by the advertising of cosmetics and perfumes.
The beautiful models are attractive even if they are often empty in their patinated and shiny wrapping, as if they had been ironed, starched and polished.
He finds the image of the knife symbol of a disturbing object that pierces the printed paper of magazines with its shape. Without going to rape the figures who still impassive seem not to notice anything.
There are about 40 small and 10 large paintings.
The performance entitled “Kidnappings” reveals what we often do not imagine, the kidnapping of an idea, a work of art or a concept….
By uniting their different way of communicating in a space that, like in a ring, we will see them grappling with obstacles that limit freedom, in a circular struggle.
In the movement they will find a common point, it is up to you to identify it.

Paolo Bielli: born in Rome. Since 2000 he has begun a series of exhibitions and performances using his own body in galleries and museums. In 2011 he was present with the work "Ring" at the 54th Venice Biennale in the Italian Pavilion, closing a period in which the knife was the predominant symbol. The artist then moved on to the image of the Boxer who fights incessantly.
