BOLOGNA EXPO 2016 (sixth edition)

In the prestigious Gallery Wikiarte a reality consolidated exhibition of 300 square meters in the historic center of Bologna just a short walk from the famous Neptune (in conjunction with the Bologna Art Fair 2016, which resulted in 2015 more than 52,000 visitors from all over the world) opens as every year the exhibition season with the exhibition "EXPO BOLOGNA 2016 VI edition" that will feature for a month from January 28 to February 28, 2016, the works of contemporary Italian and international artists.
The sixty-five artists (of which thirty permanent gallery for the whole 2016) were selected from over four hundred requests for participation received in recent months, a clear sign of the excellent work done over the years by the Galleria Wikiarte.
The event, after the success of previous editions that have seen pass leading figures of international renown as Prof. Philippe Daverio, will be presented again this year by important historians and art critics.
The inauguration of the exhibition it will be presented by Prof.GIOVANNI FACCENDA, critic and art historian, artistic director of the Catalogue of Modern (CAM) published Giorgio Mondadori, contributor to national newspapers and magazines, curator of retrospective exhibitions of de Chirico , Morandi, Rosai, Utrillo, Ligabue, Maccari, as well as major exhibitions From Picasso to Botero. Masterpieces of the twentieth century and from de Chirico to Ferroni. The twentieth century between eras, assumptions and provocations.
The closure of the exhibition instead will be handled by well-known critic and art historian Prof. GIORGIO GRASSO years collaborator of Vittorio Sgarbi, general coordinator of the Pavilion Italy Turin 54th Venice Biennale, who has been following with great interest the work of contemporary artists Italians and foreigners.
Also for the first time in Bologna, on the opening day of Saturday, January 30 will be presented by Dr. MOTTA CARLO (responsible for illustrated books of the group Cairo Communications) the famous catalog of modern and CAM 51. Giorgio Mondadori.
