Exhibitions, Italy, Bologna, 27 January 2017
In the prestigious Wikiarte Gallery in Via San Felice 18, an exhibition of 300 square meters in the historic center of Bologna just a short walk from the famous Neptune, in conjunction with Arte Fiera Bologna 2017, which resulted in 2016 more than 58,000 visitors from around the world, opens every year the exhibition season with the exhibition "EXPO BOLOGNA 2017 VII edition" that will feature from 27 January to 22 February 2017 the works of contemporary Italian and foreign artists.
The event, following the success of previous editions which have witnessed the passage of the leading figures of international reputation such as Prof. Philippe Daverio, Giovanni Faccenda , to name a few, will also be presented this year, as an important historical and art critic . The inauguration of the exhibition will be presented by Prof. Gian Ruggero Manzoni, critic and art historian, Professor of Art History at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino from 1990 to 1995. As art theorist and poet participates in the work the Venice Biennale in 1984 and 1986 editions directed by Maurizio Calvesi. He has over 50 publications and 70 exhibitions of painting.
The Wikiarte Gallery along with his sponsors, this year will offer prizes worth a total of € .8000, prizes will be at the discretion of the critics, the public and the gallery and are not acquisition prize.
First prize chosen by the Critic, the Galleria and Public: participation with 1 work at the Fair Miami 2017 (shipment / r included)
Second prize chosen gallery involvement with 1 work in one of the Italian fairs with the participation of the Gallery in 2017
Third prize chosen by the Critic: Solo Exhibition in the Lab Wikiarte a week in 2017 (about 15 works)
Fourth prize chosen by the public: permanent exhibition of two works to Wikiarte Lab (two months from March 1, 2017)
To participate in the selection every artist must send no later than December 5, 2016 in jpg photos of the works he intends to present at the exhibition along with a brief biography, all will be sent to the following address:
