SILVANA MASCIOLI
They are born spontaneously, independently of the space-time extension, the symbolic images of the original, pre-existing and innate models of our unconscious placed as fixed types of mental schemes already existing at birth. Demian Accardi bases his artistic research on the infinite variation of these archetypes that change the manifest form according to the cultural circumstances of belonging but maintain their function as meta-concepts. The artist measures his inspiration with images that, despite their appearance, maintain the stable meaning unlike the patterns of behavior, that is, the patterns of behavior that are as many as human beings as they are produced by the experience of life. These are original images that are reformulated every time, reborn from idealtipical situations and re-proposing the archetype, which remains, in itself, ungraspable. It is therefore a question of creating a transcultural and transpersonal art that contains a creative power, inevitably dependent on the answer we know how to give to the archetype, engaging in ever new forms of expression and re-elaboration.
"The whole world is a stage, and all men and women are only actors. They have their outputs and their income. Everyone in his life plays many parts, and his acts are seven ages. "The oscillation of human existence between drama and comedy, between true and false, between life and death captured in the famous Shakespearean words hides, as evidenced by the work of Paolo Del Signore, a natural tension of knowing the world, a need for competence which is the innate motivation to resolve the distance between the real and the unreal. This need, present since birth, is manifested in the tendency to concretely put into practice their skills and abilities thus building their lives. The documentation of this path is none other than its own scenography, the staging of the theatrical space and of the vital time, the space-time fraction that gives the field to the narration / existence. The art of Del Signore is committed to documenting, or objectifying this fraction and giving a perceptible aspect to the very action of living.
The dynamic of existence also nourishes the art of Silvana Mascioli. The optical illusion on which his works are based allows a violation of perception, a deception of the optical apparatus which, stimulated through appropriate geometric stimuli, is able to perceive the invisible motion intrinsic to all things. The incessant dynamics of the particles that build the world, due to the pure energy of the universe, is the primary characteristic of the uniqueness sapi - temporal that allows the work of art to transcend every dimensional attribute and description in the absolute perfection. of contents. It is a surrogate aesthetic that finds expression in the ever-new connotations between being and non-being and, as in Mascioli's works, it expands from quasi-symmetry and non-Euclidean geometry or from non-dimensionality to the concept of neutrality inherent in everything, the polarization of zero, as well as the conceptual aesthetics that derive from it; unique, proper to a supersensitive reality, surrogate indeed, that overcoming the senses exceeds reason without ever denying it.
