Gianpaolo Hat is a landscape painter, but despite being a landscape artist is constantly in search of excitement. Hat has adopted a personal technique, which allows him to get striking images that convey emotions unique to the viewer, almost allowing to enter the landscape itself, in its depths. His subjects are present mainly nocturnal landscapes whose chiaroscuro are permeated by an intimate atmosphere.
The use of the technique of dripping allows him to obtain effects of consistency and vibration of the light. This insight, which has followed him in his artistic evolution, has become his stamp.
Professor Paul Tieto, art critic of the triveneto at the presentation of his latest solo noted that hat is a recognized artist, consolidated, because in the midst of works by various artists his work is recognized.

This in case of signs, outlined with casual skill and confidence, and this is still in the colors, applied with gentle gradation, patterns of eighteenth-century landscape of the Venetian school, ie with increasing successive alternations of luminescence and shadows, depth of perspective in the direction infinity.
