The Pizzeria Negri with its load of history, can not be considered a collective heritage, as a witness of the two world wars and an Italy that has gone from poverty to economic boom, from backwardness to the push technology.
Nevertheless, this place has remained intact and persistently continued to speak his language made of quality raw materials, pizzas and traditions.
That's why the heirs of the Commander Edward Negri, great visionary but also caring entrepreneur, decided to open the doors of the old rooms inside the art, the best local artists and their fans.
The idea is to turn every year, during the summer, the pizzeria in a real art gallery. A way to promote the many Italian talents and also multiply the spaces made available for culture.
So from July 8 to August 7, every night, you can go to Pizzeria Negri not only to eat, but also just to enjoy the Grotta Azzurra and the room devoted to Pompeii free admiring paintings, pottery and other creative works.
Inaugurating - with the inauguration of Friday, July 8 at 20:30 - one that the Negri family hopes to transform into a new "tradition", will be six women with a strong artistic bent, with a collective curated by the artist Anna De Rosa promoted by Pasquale Salsano the SMAC Fashion.
Presiding over the ribbon cutting and moderate the presentation of the works, next to the Negri family, there will be a food journalist Antonella Petitti.
