Have you ever imagined a still life painting in what it can stand out from the vision of an apple plucked from a tree?
If you tried, you would hopefully realize certain considerations that would make a drastic distinction between the picture and reality, however how many would stop and contemplate the life that lies in that freshly picked apple?
I would like to accompany you by the hand among the emotions lying in these paintings, giving you young eyes ready for a profound approach that can leave you much more than an image, perhaps little more than a fascinating dream.
We start from the assumption that a painting, in this case, develops in a precise dimension, the third and that the reality we observe is placed in the fourth.
There is a "way" to link the essences of a painting with reality.
It is the fifth dimension.
In that plane of consciousness, the mind rises to perception by feeding on the meanings that dwell in all the things it observes.
It is the ability to stop the time of life and grasp the infinite that rests within it.
It is that sigh of bliss that is released when one discovers the greatness in little things and one exclaims "of course, that's it!"
Here a still life painting in the third dimension captivates us for a moment and in contemplation we enter it, it seems there in front of us and it seems to be in the fourth dimension at times, when suddenly we grasp the intimate message of its artist and everything is complete, the circle closes and you are in there, part of the whole.
Here, now I would like to reveal the ingenious trick adopted by Alfonso, to express the depth of his vibrant creations, on the occasion of this new series of masterpieces.
You have all noticed the fixed background that offers the basis for the deposition of Alfonso's creative sign.
Now imagine looking for a sense of functionality.
If you had a phone, wouldn't you plug it in?
If you had prepared for an exam, wouldn't you have used all your genius to give it?
And if God made a body, wouldn't he blow life into it?
Perhaps Alfonso just wanted to testify that everything is at our disposal and can really change through our intimate, true, authentic imprint.
Only it can determine what can make us happy to be alive, in a world that asks to be lived, for real.
