One of the most frequent outlets for the profession of curator is to be realized in museums and public institutions or in private foundations and collections. Places where an important role is played by the permanent collection and its management.
In this context, it is important to know the history of the collection and its poetics, in order to enhance the richness of the existing heritage through curatorial interventions in order to express one’s own creativity, but also to stimulate a new interest from the public.
PURPOSE AND PROGRAMME
What does it mean to work on a museum/private collection today? The methodology implemented abroad teaches that there are several ways to enhance the richness of an institution’s artistic heritage.
