REVIEW OF CONTEMPORARY SCULPTURE
The Gadarte Gallery of Florence hosts a major exhibition dedicated to creating contemporary sculpture.
From April 15, the day of its paint, you can admire the works of six artists who work on the Florentine territory and national levels.
Each with a different language and different backgrounds, with no hierarchies.
Different approaches to art that highlight specific characteristics and differences not only in form but also in the choice of material to work with: terra cotta, marble, ceramic, copper and glass.
The fantastic characters of Simon Moriondo echo the ceramic works of Anna Maria Lorimer, set realistic and dreamy creations.
For Delia Dessi is clay material with which you feel more in tune while Umberto Muti shapes and soft wood.
The poetry of these sculptors are often expressed in matching colors and materials are often very different.
It happens to the polished surfaces of Andrea Zannoni, creating compelling contrasts between lights and shadows.
LorenzoArs, instead, through the use of traditional techniques, leads the artistic experimentation on the nature of the material results in stylistic original and extreme expressive power.
