In his diary, you write the pages of the daily routine, you write down the facts, summarizing the thoughts, images take the form of our time. The crisis erupted. The Arab spring, we Lampedusa drowing under the weight of the migrants and then rises, floats like a buoy in an ocean of fear and loneliness. It 'a mix of languagesR03;R03;, traditions, religions, myths, memories, memories. What identity to this present?

Red oranges of Calabria. Emergency Diaries: two days of documentaries, videos and photographs to reflect on emergencies in the contemporary world through the eyes of five young artists, Sophia Luvarà, Giuseppe Colonese, Michele Tarzia, Vincenzo Vecchio, Fabio Itri, and a great protagonist of the film the twentieth century who died recently, Vittorio De Seta.

Never have so far never so near: the works on display have a background in Calabria, Rosarno, Pentidattilo, Reggio. But clearly there is a wading imaginary line which now cancels the boundaries and the space is no longer represented geographically definable. We could be here as elsewhere, multiple and changing individuals in search of an identity.
