Press release

The Travel Agency Mainardi exhibit from May 18, 2012 to June 2, at his place of cream in Piazza G. Marconi, 34, a series of paintings by the artist J. Solares Alejandrina
These are paintings in which the artist makes a reflection on the trip intended as a movement that is inherent in each transfer, a movement is perceived by the artist as a centripetal to centrifugal, it is an extraordinary journey and formidable. These works communicate with humanity, it also engaged in an extraordinary movement.
This move is symbolically conveyed from one color and half esperimentali technical note by the artist to carry out the work.
The artist has removed the frame, use the canvas without frame and without preparation, works made to be rolled or folded and mailed, or placed in a suitcase, the work reached the recipient is ready to be exposed to and then immediately leave again towards a new half. These works deal of nomadism and history (all modes that have their roots in the ancient tradition of the tapestry).

A reflection on technique, materials and media that reaches out beyond the traditional schemes (such as the picture).

The artist in the creation of these works has implemented a personal technique that involved using his body as the paint in her hair, using his fingers and his fingernails to etch the surface, stroking with hands and arms or walking on the surface of the canvas bare feet, use "his own physical presence in order to give the canvas" to make the transfer of de-sign. The result is a "sign purified / cleansed" but that appears to reverse. Works are all reversed.

This technique consistently follows the motto of pictorial research focuses on the phenomenon of Solares (events such as wind or fog), as in previous works Solares let the color is absorbed by the surface at random, then analyzes it to understand and interpret the stain. Monochrome works, where the artist mainly uses color Blue

The choice of Solares to fit in with an exhibition of Travel Mainardi, is a way for the artist to participate fully in the current debate of contemporary art, believing that the search for new spaces for all 'art of today is a problem that has already been passed by the post-modern.

The exhibition catalog is the logo BluArte, appears "as if" but a gallery is the work of Solares, the subject is the pseudo Gallery of Contemporary Art which is to open in Crema, but especially BluArte Art Gallery Contemporary is the title-name of a wish. Solares has created a gallery "virtual" following his work and "prominent voice" to his works, in this sense BluArte uses the mechanisms and procedures of the galleries, involving artists and figures necessary for its proper functioning ( curators, critics, collectors, dealers).

In the exhibition catalog will be presented with a text-critical presentation of Emanuele Mandelli.

Solares can see the artistic expression hidden in a bush
lumpy blue, a drop of wax, a T-shirt
changes and becomes an installation destination, a club in yellow,
in a drop of milk.

As representatives of the body art for art is often coincident Solares
with his body.

The blue mutant in this exhibition has become a mainstay
sign of life, a chimeric distinctive siren that remains clinging
as a raft.

Then you need only to be carried away by his ruminations
which are very high flights of fancy, a step away from the sun. The where
mortals, I for one, you are hot and horribly ustionano, the
where this slender woman and sensual flies with wings of wax, which does not
never melt .... the face of Icarus.
