Critical review by Elisabetta La Rosa Art Historian
"We've kept our feelings in a box, but now they're finally free."
Intense is the poetic narration that emerges from the work Sentimenti liberati, where the artist Angeli converges artistic historical knowledge to his infinite sensitivity.
The intersection of the figurative representation of a geometric mold with the informal of the surrounding space is interesting.
Observing the triangle, in the internal portion the artist depicts a box from which the feelings embodied by the evanescent color backgrounds emerge that recall the foundations of abstract expressionism thought, where the pictorial gesture becomes the vehicle of the artist's living emotions.
Maristella invites the observer to look inside in order to bring out the most authentic part of themselves, freeing their feelings.
