"When we sleep we are immersed in a different dimension, outside of space and time, a mysterious, magical world, also enveloped by fears and nightmares that often torment us. We wake up in the middle of the night, with our hearts in our throats and with cold sweats. Who is that black figure, that monster that seems to come from the underworld to torment us? Who is it that speaks in a hoarse voice from the depths of darkness? What is tormenting us? What fears, what past, what experiences? mobbing, performance anxiety, sexual violence, threats, abuse, a knife aimed at the throat? We take refuge in a dream, a blue core, a cradle, a womb in the moment of conception, where everything has yet to happen, protected by some sort of amniotic fluid, in an unreality without time or space. There, where no one can reach us, where everything was born. "
Aided by the artist's words, we enter the maze of the work “The creation”, which the artist conceives as a poetic narration of the life of the human being.
A narration that starts from the external portion where the red color dominates the canvas embodying the fears, the impetuosity, the pains of the human ego, and then branching out towards the central nucleus, where the rendering of the chromatic filaments that thicken giving serenity is masterful. to the observer.
Maristella incorporates the viewer in a narration beyond the boundaries of time, inviting him to awaken from the torpor of the evils of the soul.
Interesting is the philosophical value of the temporal conception, embodied by the chromatic prose, according to which the human perception of time is the projection that consciousness constructs in order to alter or modify the reality of which the human being is a part.
Creation arises as the becoming of life, the artist invites the observer to realize that dream embodied by the blue core, in order to free the spirit from nightmares
