Critical comment by Elisabetta La Rosa Art Historian & Art Manager
The avenue flow is like those Roots rooted in the fertile ground of life.
Rejoining one's roots in Maristella Angeli, an emotional work capable of combining transliterated art and poetry in pictorial matter.
The artist has given voice to her narration which focuses on the study of the roots of the human being, the man who draws his energy from the vital essence irradiated in the fertile soil of life and in the sky, the source of life itself.
She echoes once again that narrative that sees the trunk of the tree as the human being and the roots, those of the soul, which run from bottom to top, impressing the work with an upward reading movement.
Technically, the pictorial rhythm of the artist is interesting, as she outlines the contours of the vital stem with absolute precision.
Although the tree is made up of roots and bare leaves, it is actually alive, permeating that chromatic poetic characterizing the thought of Maristella Angeli, and of that vital essence that the artist narrates through the branching of the branches as if they were the prehensile hands of the human being, hungry for life, hungry for energy, who walks the path of life on the emotional wave of the breath of his own soul.
