"Red roots to represent the color of blood, the same for each of us, because what unites us is our common origin. We sink our roots in the earth so that the humus, which in this case symbolizes knowledge and culture, can be absorbed. "
Aided by the words of the artist Maristella angeli, we immerse ourselves in the beating heart of the work Red roots, like everyone's blood.
The artist reflects on the intrinsic existence of the ego, the human beings united by the same deep substance, our origin, the mother earth from which we all descend.
Because there are no differences of social class or gender, there are no differences and the art of Maristella Angeli tells the profound matrix of each of us.
Immersing ourselves in the pictorial stroke, we notice how the artist has worked in a meticulous way on the harmonious-chromatic balance, shaping the intrinsic fabric of the work through the reference to the roots of mother earth and to those of the human being who identify with the blood.
It should be noted how the artist, starting from the upper portion, has punctuated the trunks of trees that can be barely glimpsed, and then focuses on the roots, on what is under the earth and which the artist represents through the different shades of color. .
The human essence that interconnects with the fabric of Mother Earth, becoming porous matter on canvas, where Maristella's pictorial gestures transliterates that poetic ego into a pictorial work of the soul
