The charm of the nocturnal landscape becomes the voice of the emotional nuances of Maristella, who with the work Stars among the stars wants to remember the victims of the Coronavirus who died in solitude.
A magical atmosphere, the stars are the protagonists of that emotion marked by the chromatic poetics of Maristella, the canvas is the lifeblood for the spiritual matrix that permeates the fabric of the work.
Observing the pictorial gestures, note the alternation - in the upper portion - of a defined narrative, punctuated by the interval of the stars in the infinity of the sky, to the evanescent pictorial material in the lower portion, where the backgrounds float free, they recall souls that ascend to heaven, merging with the stars and becoming part of that dreamlike poetics that reverberates in the roots of Maristella Angeli's soul.
