Entering the week of Christmas the artist Maristella Angeli shows us a version of the Nativity on canvas.
An intense, introspective work, where not only the spiritual value but above all the human one emerges.
Starting from the pictorial study, the artist shapes strongly stylized figures that point towards infinity, where this light beam of Divine matrix radiates in the upper portion.
Therefore, the introspective spirituality of the work and the human wonder meet, all combined with an emotional and at the same time poetic pictorial gesture.
Maristella elaborates in the figurative study, that sense of infinity which is consolidated in the mystery of birth but also in the spiritual rebirth of the human ego. The colors slide on the support they are concrete and at the same time evanescent, as if to mark that interconnection between earthly and divine essence
