A new and interesting cultural event enriches the rich program of events organized in Trentino on the centenary of the First World War.
The art exhibition WAR & PEACE, solo exhibition of the artist Annalisa Lenzi, curated by Carolina Bortolotti and sponsored by the City of Pergine, will be hosted at the Hall Maier of Pergine, 14 to March 29, 2015.
PEACE & WAR - war and peace - are two concepts that are extremely current even after a century since the outbreak of the Great War: armed conflicts and ideological wars that afflict our daily life constantly push humanity to an endless search peace and serenity shared. Annalisa Lenzi has reflected on the dichotomy between war and peace and reinterpreted these concepts in a contemporary way, creating a series of works different in the means of expression used, but all united by ironic language and colorful distinctive young artist: a style highly recognizable with explicit references to surrealism, pop-art and the stree. On display will be possible to find soldiers sheep following a general, pigs processed in fighter planes, bombers captured by a child to play, installations, videos and much more.
The exhibition will open on Saturday, March 14th at 18:00 at Sala Maier, in Piazza Serra 11 to Pergine, and will remain open until Sunday, March 29 (every day, with hours from 10 to 12 and from 15 to 19).
