Debut Artist Michelle Hold has been invited to partecipate with Arte in Arte at
“Artisti in Opera”.
A special event during EXPO Milano where 50 Italian and foreigner artists, in the weekend of June 20th and 21st 2015 simultaneously in different locations in Milan, will realize right in front of your eyes, their own artwork. Captivating, exciting and training you on the techniques of artistic creation.
Michelle Hold will be present at Umanitaria , Via Francesco Daverio 7 on 20-21 june.
Her project is called “Nutrirsi di Luce “ or “Live from Light”
Color is Michelle’s passion. Having worked with important designers in the fashion business and having created new materials as a textile designer for them, Michelle has trained her eye and sensibility to slight changes in color tone. Her color palette and compositions reveal an exquisite sensitivity to light and space. Furthermore, she is aware of the fact that color is able to heal your body and soul.
Michelle says: “Life without light is impossible for us , even when we close our eyes there is light. Color plays a vitally important role in our life because color is light. For me life without color is unthinkable, specially as an abstract painter I do live from light but I know that I need the darkness to contrast.

Michelle Hold was born in Munich and grew up in Innsbruck, Austria where she began studying architecture. Then she amplified her growth in the artistic field and fabric design in various courses in Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Munich and London. After pursuing successfully an international modelling career and a restaurant business in Hong Kong, Michelle is finally following her lifetime passion for art. She has shown in Italy and internationally, won prestigious awards, been selected by an award-winning art incubator in London. Her works are in Private Collections in Austria, Germany, Italy, Romania, Portugal, Great Britain, and USA.
"I use Abstraction because for me it is the most interesting international language, to communicate about nature, feelings and visions.”
Her mission is to create powerful paintings, expand our awareness of color and by doing so lift our lives by pleasing the eye and soul.
