Saturday, October 12 , at 11 am, in collaboration with the National Library of Turin , the Ministry of Heritage and Culture and Tourism - Regional Directorate for Cultural Heritage and Landscape of Piedmont and with the sponsorship of the City of Turin , opens show the stay of the sign. Italian contemporary engraving , organized by the National Engravers Contemporaries .
The exhibition presents a broad survey on Italian research incision through the meaningful work of 26 artists working all over the country and very different for expressive purposes .
2013 was the year of the foundation of contemporary Italian Engravers that aims to help enhance and promote national and international level the Italian art of engraving .
The incision , you know, is a plot of highly specialized technique that uses tools obsolete , which stands proudly on the fence "other" expression, in favor of a more metered operation , as determined by a border of his own doing on a slab , to a more intimate gesture and content that seems to shy away from the chronicles of art. The need to inform the general public in the timeliness of his research is the primary purpose of the Association who joined the show, even in this case , an educational workshop for schools that will take place in the days ? ?
