With the exhibition "Age of Aquarius" Art Prize 2013 Rugabella identifies a long-winded
which extends from the sustainability of the processes post boom, natural scenery and environmental
through the visionary imagination of the dream or of the absurd , to the reflections on the
human and social dynamics , to the contemplation of landscapes of the interior , the documentation of
new terrain, suggestions futuristic or apocalyptic .
In the scenario of a seventeenth-century villa is a dialogue with the contemporary in a project
exhibition space that supports the development and communication of the proposed works .
The selected artists interpret the change as a variable suspended establishing with certainty
a border, a sign of demarcation , a point of no return. Hence the new line emerged on which
living ideas , perspectives, moods. New visions emerge between reality and fiction, between invention and
cultural heritage , innovation and status quo , between life and dream.

From the outset Rugabella Art Prize is a cultural platform for art
contemporary forms of expression which compares heterogeneous . In this regard the
creation of a single premium regardless of category , favors an explicit dialogue
equal between different codes of representation , resulting in blurred boundaries between tradition ,
multimedia and experimentation. Primary intent of Rugabella Art Prize is to promote the art
contemporary offering alternative scenarios of development of the cultural and environmental heritage ,
in an unprecedented network of partner institutions and local governments .
