" PRIVATE " the project on femicide arrives in Sorrento
The only bell stage of the project against gender-based violence that will turn arrives in Sorrento Italy on April 12.
PRIVATE tour of Italy to reflect on femicide and violence has reached the second stage: the exhibition curated by Federica Federica Mariani are engaged seven artists Amichetti , Alessandra Baldoni , Mirko Canesi , Mandra Cerrone, John Gaggia , Francesca Romana Pinzari , Rita Soccio with the special participation of women journalists Nikla Cingolani and Tamara Ferrari opens Saturday, April 12 at 18 at the Art Hotel Gran Paradiso Sorrento and will remain on display until May 12.
The inauguration will be the subject of meetings and discussions with journalists and local representatives to inform and share , through testimonies, compared to the present problem. Speakers , in addition to the authorities and curators , including Dr. Elvira Royal Head of the Center of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy for the woman , the lawyer. Annamaria Raimondi , the Inspector Francesca Romana Capaldo and Daniela Morante , an artist participating in the competition , 100 ³ 100 years old, 100 rooms, 100 artists, promoted in 2013 by ' Art Hotel Gran Paradiso .
The project, which started from the Marches on March 8 with an exhibition at the Mole Vanvitelliana of Ancona has chosen as the only bell stage the prestigious Art Hotel has always been sensitive to contemporary art , to spread a message through video, installations and photographs the objective is to reflect on femicide and gender-based violence , starting from works of art , overturning the conventional approach and ere touching the strings of emotion and then those of rationality.
The exhibition PRIVATE is the core of a non-profit project , which provides a dynamic and flexible , as well as a book - catalog published by the independent publishing house Communication Project, events , workshops with artists and educational activities in schools. The project will end November 25, 2014 .
