Exhibitions, Italy, Perugia, Corciano, 02 August 2014
The Corciano Festival 2014 offers next to the staff dedicated to Omar Galliani, an exhibition of eleven artists that will develop within the village, including multimedia projections, painting, sculpture and photography. The exhibition titled, Dreams perennial Diaries, edited by Andrea Baffoni and Francesca Duranti, tells the coincidence between the year of Keo, a satellite containing a time capsule that will be sent into space and then back to earth from 50,000 years and the fiftieth anniversary of Corciano Festival. Humanity through Keo, is called to participate freely by sending his own testimony of the Earth's current situation; the project of NASA. The capsule has an internal memory capable of containing a message of four pages for each inhabitant of the earth, and everyone can join through the Internet. What better time to be able to tell who we are through the different languages of contemporary art; our time, dreams, and exploited the fears of a tormented generation 2.0. The exhibition will be told and contained in those four pages, starting from Corciano, and you will be added to the individual testimonies which will then be a "voice from the past" for humanity from 50,000 years. Artists in the exhibition: Alessandra Baldoni, Simon Bramley, Francesco Capponi, Daniel Camaioni, Julia Corradetti, Hernan Chavar, Gabriels, Michelangelo Galliani, Massimiliano Galliani, Barbara Lachi, Elisa Pietrelli.
