ARTEAM CUP 2017 | 3rd edition
EXHIBITION OF FINALISTS

edited by Matteo Galbiati and Livia Savorelli

BonelliLAB
Canneto sull'Oglio (MN)

October 28 - November 19, 2017

Arteam Cup, the free contest reserved for the members of the Arteam Cultural Association of Albissola Marina - SV (www.arteam.eu), arrives at the third edition and presents the BonelliLAB spaces in Canneto sull'Oglio (MN). 70 finalist artists (including 8 Under 30).
Arteam Cup - after the debut in 2015 in Venice at the Zattere's Theater and the 2016 edition hosted at Palazzo del Monferrato in Alessandria - is the title of the "Artefestaurant Arteam" who borrows the name. Unchanged the purpose: to provide, with the exhibition of the finalists, an important opportunity for visibility and comparison with always different exhibitions; to contribute - through the various prizes conceived for each edition - to the entrance of artists in the circuit of art galleries and in the main market; to experience important training experiences, such as artist residences, special projects or curatorial; create and encourage interactions and moments of exchange between artists; to confront the world of enterprise. To put it briefly, Arteam Cup's greatest ambition is to "make a net", weaving ties between the various artsystem operators and all those who are tied to it.
While in 2016 the finalist artists had been called to confront an ancient palace in the center of Alexandria, Piedmont, for the 2017 edition they are interacting with the algid industrial spaces returned to the art of BonelliLAB (formerly Furga, the first Italian dolls factory, which settled in Canneto around 1880 and whose activity continued until 1992).
