Start as early as Carlo Strano Art. Start as beginning and then a good omen ... In his first exhibition, the artist Carlo Strano presents his artistic work putting it inside the Sugarpulp Festival. His works are inserted literally on the festival's set. His poetic dominant, the geometric and the deep, moulds a continuum between the exhibition set and the real art works . The result is an installation where the obsessive repetition of elementary geometric elements, such as a process of cell proliferation, forms complex agglomerates. Assemblies that are dialogue between form and matter, organic matter of wood and the abstract form of geometry. Modular assemblies that can clump together and apart, expand and contract, which are both individual objects and part of a whole, a kind of complex organism I call body-maze. Takes shape depth, aesthetic and existential metaphor of contemporary complexity. Takes shape in the geometric rigor, unmistakable trace of human presence. The work is part of the cycle of the Geometry of the Deep (GMPR), the white maze of complexity and desire. Space in the making, abstract narrative where each volume, each solid, full or empty it is an event, a fact. Where the concatenation volume-event creates a physical frame, material and abstract together. Where in monotonous succession of the elements of wood, spoke the distraction of color, white. Where in monotonous succession of volumes-event white lights on the pink room. What happens in the pink room? A sexual act? An act of violence? Is unknown. The pink room is the archetypal human event, we can only guess and imagine, beeing in tension between fear and desire.
