For the "Gallery 360" instead, Florence and Contemporary Art do not represent two antithetical or a contradictory terms and, with the same foresight and keenness of the past, it gives life and offers stimulating opportunities for discussion. "Art in Florence" appears therefore as an exhibition where artists of different nationalities, through their works, give rise to new dialogues between reflection and criticism, art and thought, but especially between art and life.
"Art in Florence" back then, the art and the aesthetic meditation in their place of origin, in the heart of artistic expression, giving rise to a new dawn of innovative sparks such as the work of YU CHUAN: Chinese artist which combines, in a successful combination, the ancient Chinese teachings of painting with the Western technique of oil painting. In his works, dragons, phoenixes, horses, crocodiles, favorite characters of Chinese mythology, become models of humanity and existential paradigms to a profound interior meditation, while through a free and wriggling drafting expresses the "sprit de vie and liberté", or else the spirit of life and liberty, personal and of each of us. Instead, in REGINA NOAKES’s paintings take shape atmospheres of a daily and homely world, populated by silent female figures who cross curious and frank the observer’s glance. Authenticity and genuineness are unmistakable sign of Australian painter. In fact, thanks to a naive painting, circumvent the moral rigor, pre-built models and external impositions, while the famous tale "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll, inspires fantastic scenery where the unreality overshadows deeper meanings and urges psychological and emotional hypothesis. JOSE 'LUIS MARCOS MANNUCCI on the contrary, through digital technology becomes sensitive interpreter of a world in rapid transformation and evolution. They are images that actually do not seem to know stasis, because signs and colors call forth processes of creative germination incessant, delineating new perceptive passages and reproducing emotions and life pulses of a frantic Universe.
In "Art in Florence" exhibition we can observe research and different artistic expressions, heterogeneous proposals, but although different, are united through a positive valuation of the past, felt not as an obstacle, but rather as an incentive to look to the future with a propositive and innovative spirit ,of the rest, as was stated by Ezra Pound "tradition is a beauty to preserve, not a bunch of chains to bind us."
