Exhibitions, Hungary, Budapest, 10 May 2014
My work will remain in Budapest for another month due to winning a prize to exhibit at "Szimpla Kert", one of the most diverse and famous ruin pubs in Budapest (it ranks 3rd in the world!).
Szimpla Kert translates to "simple garden" and offers a wide variety of entertainment, such as art exhibitions, concerts, fashion shows, fairs and markets and other cultural events. Szimpla Kert offers a unique, bohemian environment and atmosphere.
To place art inside a pub may seem unusual and odd; however, the venue caters for it and once again I am excited to be exhibiting in Budapest and thankful to the organizers for such a unique opportunity and additional experience.
