Studio Ottavio Celestino, IV floor
Via deli Ausoni 3
Inside the Atelier of Ottavio Celestino, located on the fourth floor of the historic Ex Pastificio Cerere in San Lorenzo, for the fifth edition of Open House Rome, will take place a photographic exhibition entitled Young Photography presenting two young authors, Eleonora Cerri Pecorella and Andrea Musicò. The project focuses on the theme of food with an interpretative edge strictly personal of the two authors, who embark on a very personal journey through evocations and irony. Where the food is just an excuse to travel away from the usual icons of food.
In the project of Eleonora Cerri Pecorella the path is through Nature to investigate its balance apparently chaotic and random. A tale about signs that talk about the world to which we belong through specimens and their details. Andrea Musicò instead focuses on the traces that the typical Sicilian dishes leave on the body of the person who eats them. The food is never manifest, thus emphasizing its intrusive omnipresence in our daily lives.
Over 170 sites of ancient architecture, modern and contemporary, 60 special events and a completely revamped program: back on 7 and 8 May 2016, for the fifth year, Open House Rome, the event that every year, in one weekend and in a manner completely free, opens the doors of architecture most of the Capital representative.
Open House Roma is made possible thanks to the work that now since 2012, carries out the Association Open City Roma, together with its partners and more than 700 volunteers including students, professors, architects and enthusiasts, each year ensure that the treasures of the capital could again be free to all fans.
