Manifesto Brut in collaboration with the literary and artistic center Acrodacrolivres of Bou Bounoider, an atypical place where art is presented at 360°, organizes "Pollination" An exhibition of Mail-Art throughout the duration of the London Biennale, founded and directed by David Medalla.
The exhibition is open to all artists who wish to participate. Just send the works on A4 (21 x 29,7cm) maximum size, to the address below with title, name, address and e-mail.
No limitation in the technique either in thought. The opening is scheduled for May 1st 2014 starting at 6.30 pm. Works can also be sent during the exhibition period. They will be added to others already exhibited. A conference and a presentation of the exhibition are planned at the opening. Seminars and literary events will take place throughout the event.
A detailed documentation of the event can be followed on the website of Manifesto Brut as well as the website of Acrodacrolivres. There will be a closing day on the 1st June 2014 starting at 6.30pm.
Throughout the duration of the exhibition, will be organized lectures and discussions on art, in particular on the Mail-Art and on the objectives of the London Biennale. "Do it yourself free arts festival” etc All work will be posted on the respective websites. A virtual catalog will be edited at the end of the exhibition and can be downloaded.
We do not accept work submitted by e-mail.
The works will not be returned and remain the property of Manifesto Brut for possible future exhibitions. The physical and moral respects for the work as well as the author rights will always be guaranteed.
