The bond to the town, love, anger, loneliness, fear of losing everything we have, even the most certain. These are just some of the many feelings traced in the works exhibited in the SOLO SHOW 'Intimate Emotions' Martina Buglioni at Rebacco Wine + Art Showroom to Sunday, March 24.
Martina, born in 1986, is a young Roman photographer whose images contain his personal universe. A self-described "lover of life, its joys and its ever-present difficulties."
His passion for the photo, was born in an unspecified time: "I have not yet figured out when I realized I have a passion for photography, I just know that a beautiful summer day I bought my first camera, a compact and from there I started to shoot ... shoot .. until my pleasant pastime became a passion slowly accompanied by the advent of MIA Canon (the old Betzy) ... "
At every step, even the most descriptive, it hides his emotional point of view in relation to a lived reality, designed to be metabolized and subsequently carried through the midst of her most congenial: a Canon EOS 450D.
Dismembered portraits, close-ups of eyes unfocused, screams of anger and glasses upside down. Metaphors of dreams gone, wrong paths. It 's the same Martina who says: "lose everything and be stripped also of hope, fall and rise again to start: Hope Floats ..".
A photograph reads: "These are the knees of which fall, these are the hands with which you stand up." Yes, start over and start a new journey to bump into unknown streets, in the more ardent emotions, which will rediscover famous places in the city until you taste sensations long forgotten.
What marks, teaches. And 'this is his motto. And 'This is his philosophy of life and that is what the viewer wants to convey through his shots.
Martina Buglioni was born in 1986 in Rome, where he currently lives and works.
