The Vibe Gallery and 'an art gallery located inside a former factory Biscuits turned into a business complex in the area of R03;R03;Bermondsey, near London Bridge.

In this space takes place January 16 to 29 the Italian Art Festival, curated by Nadia Spita for the organization Art Cafe London. In the context of this event, which is part of the exhibition made by small & LARGE Soqquadro and curated by Marina Zatta.

In the kind of mass society in which we live is absorbed by a speed that often confuses and requires more immediate emotions, losing the ability to stop and observe and understand the true nature of the dimensions of a work. The exhibition sheds light on this topic in mind that the size of a work corresponding to a choice motivated and conscious artist, shifting the focus of a qualitative value of the format and quantity, which often is indicative of specific conditions and historical contexts, and expressive needs of the artist.
It is no coincidence that Abstract Expressionism with its giant sizes and blossomed in America after World War II, as it is said that the magic of a work should be linked to a large size: we think of the Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci , where the deep and mysterious enigma of the superb painting is expressed in the equally mysterious intimacy of a modest size. The artists will reflect through their own creativity and will reflect on, putting to the test with two different format types: small and large.
