On January 29, 2013 at 18:00 at Arion Library Exhibition Palace in Rome will be presented to the public on DVD on the life and art of Amen with a documentary entitled "AMEN The painter who caught the imagination of Hollywood" produced by DNA Culture directed by Diego Loreggian. The DVD will be on sale in the spaces Arion Library from the same day.

After the success of the public, the exhibition "Antonio Menegazzo, aka Amen" being in the galleries of the Diocesan Museum of Padua has been extended until February 3, 2013. Hailed as the "return" of Amen in the city that he loved to the point of leaving Hollywood in 1969 at the height of his fame has crossed the boundaries of Padua. The Documentary "AMEN The painter who caught the imagination of Hollywood," was published on the occasion of the exhibition Antonio Menegazzo in art Amen staged at the Diocesan Museum of Padova from 17 November 2012 to 3 February 2013, curated by Virginia Baradel, Massimo Vanni and Magagnin Negriolli.

This is the first retrospective dedicated to the painter from Padua, who was a great illustrator and cartoonist between the two world wars and later became famous as a painter in Venezuela and in California in the sixties and seventies.

Antonio Menegazzo was born in Padua in 1892, acute personality, ironic and creative, and after the war went on the Carso, became one of the most famous Italian illustrators and poster designers. John Wayne, Rod Taylor, Marilyn Maxwell, Rock Hudson, Cary Grant, Marcel Marceau, Abbe Lane, director Richard Quine become collectors and friends. Successive exhibitions in Los Angeles, Pasadena, S. Francisco S. Diego, Paris, London. Homesick left Hollywood at the height of his statement, following the purchase of a painting by the Museum in Los Angeles. He returned to Italy in 1969, Carlo Munari who had always followed the organized an exhibition at Pancheri of Rovereto and a major retrospective at Levi in R03;R03;Milan. In 1972 he won the Prix Segantini. But his condition worsened. He died in November 1974, before the age of 82 years.

The DVD documentary "Amen. The painter who caught the imagination of Hollywood ", tells the incredible adventure of Amen, man, illustrator and painter who was able to find a way to fly with the imagination far beyond the dreams and giving voice, with lightness and poetic melancholy, of a nation of creatures minimum and dreamy, actors eternally beginners circus of life, thin and lanky figures rose to prominence in shady areas as extras in a scene lost.
