Libraries of Rome are meeting homage to the philosopher Edith Stein in the initiative, Shoah implications of the injury, the new artistic project realized by Antonello Morsillo on the victims of the concentration camps.
Angela Ales Bello is an Italian philosopher, founder and director of the Italian Center of Phenomenological Research based in Rome. After graduation and specialization in philosophy at the Sapienza University of Rome, it was dedicated mainly to deepen the phenomenology of Husserl, also studying other authors of the phenomenological school, particularly those in Germany. In this context he has analyzed the thought of women philosophers that have formed within the so-called Circle of Gottingen, including Edith Stein, whose Ales Bello is one of the leading specialists, and Hedwig Conrad-Martius. Ales Bello takes care of the complete edition for New Town Editrice the works of Edith Stein in Italian. He has published essays and articles on specialized phenomenological thought.
Former professor of History of Contemporary Philosophy at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome, now teaches "Phenomenology of religious experience" in the Faculty of Philosophy which was dean until 2002, he is a visiting professor at several foreign universities.
Antonello Morsillo is called "suridealista" because his works express social fervor represented in dreamlike scenarios. The symbolic passages inspired by the "patches" of Rorschach, stand out from the image represented, the "drill" in depth and seal his artistic identity. Its urgency is claiming through art, important social issues because he believes that art can and should make known some significant realities.
