The new art project by Antonello Morsillo reach the third exhibition in the exhibition rooms of the Library Gianni Rodari. Shoah implications of the injury is the title of our Puglia that the painter used to pay homage to the victims of the concentration camps. Seventy years after the liberation of the Nazi camps Etty Hillesum, Gertrud Kolmar, Edith Stein, Maximilian Kolbe, Anne Frank, Happy Schragenheim and other great figures in the paintings they are recalled, next to ordinary people, unknown, evoked in the painting on the poster. Through the tears of the Jewish people, they unravel all the other figures boxed in green triangles, pink, reds, blues, blacks, browns, purple represented here in the form of a make-up smudged, an artifice as their classification. Each of them has a face, a sign of how man can get into the deepest abyss to create the greatest catastrophe that the '900 can and should remember. The intent is to allow, to know and remember, through art, the people killed by an absurd "final solution".
Morsillo is called "suridealista" because his works express social fervor represented in dreamlike scenarios. The symbolic passages inspired by the "patches" of Rorschach, stand out from the image represented, the "drill" deep and seal his artistic identity. Its urgency is claiming through art, important social issues because he believes that art can and should make known some significant realities. In Rome diploma in graphic design, drawing and painting. The four-year experience with the SonyBmg, enabling it to establish itself as an illustrator. A number of his works appeared on the covers of CDs, books and magazines for Mina, Milva, Patty Pravo, Rector, Scialpi, Luigi Tenco and Renato Zero. Since 2007, with the exhibition Cinemorfismi masks of madness on the big screen, he began his artistic investigation. Here explores the obsessions and fears of some crazy characters of cinema as Sebastian Venable, Baby Jane, Norma Desmond and Veronika Voss. A reflection gained even after the Master on the structural reading of the film obtained in Rome. In 2009, he is participating in a group show in New York. In 2011 with the staff of flesh stripped the martyrs of thought the graphics gives way to painting. The tribute is here addressed to philosophers, writers, scientists, activists, dismembered their bodies to those who wanted to erase the traces. With the exhibition disfigured by mouse to the brush, in 2012, celebrates ten years of artistic activity. It 'an additional segment that identifies the personality of this author that after graduating in Arts, deepens in Rome his university studies in Library and philosophy.
