The Associazione Culturale A.p.s. Lunatici promotes and organizes its first exhibition
of sculpture and painting, realized with the support of the City of Parma. At 18.30 ,
Spazio Pasubio ( Via Pasubio 3 / F - Parma ) , will be the inauguration of the exhibition "
Inside / Rinascite " with the works (sculpture / painting ) by Erjon Nazeraj , young
sculptor ( graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna), but not only.
Sculptor : “not because his works than the single sculpture , but because his work is physical
exertion, emotional involvement is autobiography not limited to simple rote learning selfreferential, but that tells the contemporary history. In 2001 he moved to Italy from
Albania : only a few years earlier had begun landings, which destabilized the mood of a
country absolutely unprepared to accommodate a flow so consistent . And this shift
becomes historical experience, which turns into writing (sculpture / design / performance
) , a way to report and narrate your location in a well-defined time . The exhibition Inside
/ Rinascite is not a simple succession of works , but it is a unique work units, a body: is
the way in which the various scriptures have been " digested " by the artist himself ."

The exhibition moves sculpting a kind of "third landscape" artist: from a physical
discomfort, interior, environmental and visual arises the need to return to a more
personal nature and reassuring. And from there again, with a new shape. The artist
identifies the inner life, with what is inside the cocoon and coming out. Refuge, then, in a
very primitive, a nest, an intimacy, a body, also shared a space in which we can
interrogate about themselves and about the world around us. And then cross over and
break into the contemporary reality.
The exhibition will be open to the public until 10 November 2013.
Admission is free.
During the vernissage will be made a projection of the "Rinascita" of Erjon Nazeraj
edited by Dimitri Bertolini with a digital sound by the group Lady Vallens
The exhibition will also be accompanied by a small catalog that, in addition to
reproducing the works, proposes some interpretations and critical essays edited by
Andrea Tinterri and Domenico Russo.

How do you tell ? What are actually the works on display ? What part ? Imagine one of
those dummies anatomical with organs that can be removed with the plastic skin that
you can lift up to see what 's underneath. Do you think that this dummy is whole , from
the toes to the last hair on my head and imagine to be able to dissect , but not like the
animals in formaldehyde by Damien Hirst that remain closed in their display cases : no
protection, a free body, a body cut in two that still breathes and turns. Now try to imagine
this body available, generously granted the gaze of others, imagine it an unnatural size:
a dummy anatomy of a giant, almost like a surreal fairy tale, a gateway to the
arrangement of the various organs, the digestive system, the liver, heart, brain that
seems to hide and disguise themselves as if to prove their intelligence. A dummy giant
built in his own image and likeness, and deliberately forgotten in a deserted place by
man, in a space where nature can capture it , dealing with its forms, with its gaps, with
its ramifications , and transform it. A metamorphosis that has given rise to a body , the body of Erjon Nazeraj, a walk- structure within which to enter, look, understand the
positioning of the various organs, and stay there long enough, long enough to
understand the story. That's why the curator can not touch , can not speak , that's why
the only thing that we are given is to enter within the exhibition space, to get inside the
artist's body as if it were something that you can attend within which stop: a dummy with
an anatomical name and date of birth, left open, but still breathing, being slow

ERJON NAZERAJ
Erjon Nazeraj, was born in Fier, Albania in 1982. In 2001 he graduated in sculpture at
the Art School Jakov Xoxa of Fier. In 2007 he graduated in sculpture at the Academy of
Fine Arts in Bologna. In 2008, intervenes with the installation "Upstream" on the facade
of a building in Bologna. In 2011 participates in the collective "Wall Drawings" at the art
gallery Paolo Maria Deanesi in Rovereto, in the group of sculpture "Eat me 2nd edition"
at the Galleria San Ludovico di Parma, the dual personal "Flirt" at the headquarters of
Associazione Culturale 'Made in Art’ in Parma. In 2012, with the Associazione Culturale
'Made in Art’ presents a pictorial installation event Accessible Art Milan, participates with
a performance at the second edition of "Lat Love Approach Together" in Parma with the
Associazione Culturale Lunatici.

LADY VALLENS
Lady Vallens (Matteo Berghenti e Rodolfo Villani) was born in 2007 as a natural musical
development regarding two former members of noise band Brother James, Matteo and
Rodolfo. The new project consists of electronic sounds, drum machines and baritone
distorted guitars combined with dark and obscure voices.
