Collezionando Gallery of Ada Egidio opens Saturday, September 26, 2015, the exhibition entitled "Out of this world" Giusy Lauriola its new headquarters in Prati in Rome. The artist is his second personal gallery.
Once the subject of the works of Giusy Lauriola urban wanderers were walking the streets of Rome, between its historic and typical cobblestones. Following resting on his shoulders, as unbeknownst to them, they have appeared wings, metaphor aspirations more or less aware. In the latter project took place as a reset of the program, a tabula rasa, to look with new eyes those wings, isolated and made unique, women who first though with wings did not fly, that land that view it out to be world. Women, girls, dancers are suspended in the air and distance from the earth is possible only because of their dexterity and ability. Dancers (not all adept dancers in this strange scene of life?) And against the force of gravity are suspended on colorful maps.
Born projections of our world, both artistically and as amended, is the most real of Peters, the artist called "United States by Colors", a world where the boundaries between states are tracked only by the colors without respecting the countries present. The united states of an ideal world where everything would be easier, so far from what we live in now where religion and social differences only cause suffering. Meanwhile, perhaps waiting and hoping for that to happen, the female figures represented prefer to detach and observe everything from a distance perspective, suspended, without any apparent reference timeframe.
The works have two layers: under the painting in its simple and disarming naturalness, enriched with resin castings that make clear the new visions of the artist and a layer of Plexiglas to create a haze, a protector, a second vision and try to make deep and three-dimensional work.
