Via Castiglioni N 1
Exhibitions, Italy, Mantova, Marcaria, 30 May 2015
A few kilometers from the city, set in the countryside of Mantua Castiglioni Court rises, monumental residence of the family.
In conjunction with the reopening to the public, following the restoration of paintings, we present an 'exhibition of contemporary art. Thus creating a dialogue, a bridge between the past and the present.
Court Castiglioni proves an ideal space. A place where the energies flowed, colors and emotions of the Italian Renaissance, and where today we want to revive those feelings through the beauty, the mystery of the complexity of 'contemporary art.
Six invited artists, (Linda Carrara, Piero Mezzabotta, Isabella Lotti, Andrea Sante Taddei, Claudia Melegari, Marco Fantini) has been asked to work on the issue of the Court, as a place of relationship / s, and focusing on the figure of Baldassare Castiglione on his communication skills-relational, not to mention the political role.
In fact there are reports the theme of the exhibition and as they were once they are even more so today.
A fact visible to all through the extraordinary evolution of social networks, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Tinder, Skipe, Internet.
All this comparable to a sort of "Short" contemporaneous.
Internet, if nothing else, is reflected in an infinite number of Court / the Castiglioni, in turn divided into corridors, halls, niches, which relate, communicate and conspire with each other more quickly, immediately, through a display.

This exhibition seeks to reflect on how the past still present, a precise place (Court Castiglione), on the characters that have been involved, and then translate them to the contemporary mode.
