An exhibition that is divided into 10 highly selected works of the complex Corpus by the young Sicilian artist Giuseppe Alletto. From the blinding whiteness of the atomic explosion to the white space suitable for a palingenesis that opens up new dimensions of being and new representative possibilities. From the visions of atomic mushrooms as real Totems of annihilation and symbols of the destructive drive inherent in man to pacification in a posthuman dimension from which mysterious sounds similar to primordial wails seem to rise, hymns to new unusual dawns. Alletto's great flexibility in the use of different languages and different expressive techniques (from oil painting to experimentation on materials such as acoustic panels, acetates and metal sheets) becomes a multifaceted deployment of a single well-defined poetics. In Giuseppe Alletto's vision of the world, in his "weltanschauung" which is articulated in the entire corpus of works, the artist investigates the irrational component of man, his blindness as loss, upheaval, immersion in a real White Dark. The consequences of all this are the overcoming of the Wagnerian dimension of the "purely human" in favor of a rebirth that appears mysterious and difficult to decode. Alletto announces a new type of language that is expressed in some of the works on display in Turin entitled "Music of the Lost Future" or "Music of Silence". They are based on an original semiotic difference between references to neumatic musical writing and propensity to the kinesthetic tactile dimension of the fruition of the work in overcoming the limits of the traditional twodimensional vision. The hymn to regeneration reaches its climax in an installation in which an obstetrics tool stands out. The Nietzschean rebirth of something beyond human is crystallized in an extremely aerial work of great compositional sophistication, entitled “Halo”. The extremely elegant formal cleanliness of the broken circle created by a crown of diodes becomes an emblem of the finiteness of the human historical journey and, at the same time, an ode to rebirth in a dimension of light, in an empty and suspended space still to be endowed with meaning: a White Darkness.
