MIART ART FAIR
Fairs, Italy, Milano, 26 March 2010
The work on MiArt 2010 has led to the appointment of an extensive team of curators, contact people for the various sections of the event, and has attracted the biggest names in the Italian art industry.

While Donatella Volontè and Giacinto Di Pietrantonio will continue to be in charge of the Modern sector and the Contemporary sector respectively, Giorgio Verzotti will edit the event catalogue: no longer simply a guide to the fair, but a tool for reading the specific details of the galleries presented and to reflect on the role that they have played in the promotion of artists and trends at different times.

Milovan Farronato will coordinate the conference programme with different names from the international art system; Giorgio Verzotti, once again, and Massimiliano Gioni will comprise the Scientific Committee, responsible for selecting the works acquired by the Purchase Fund sponsored by AmicidiMiArt: to this regard, it is possible to consult the list of the works selected for the 2009 edition on the MiArt website - www.miart.it -.

MiArt 2010 also has a new Consultation Committee for selecting the exhibition projects: Marco Altavilla and Mario Pieroni are working on the team alongside Emi Fontana, Epicarmo Invernizzi, Francesca Minini, Mauro Nicoletti, Lorcan O'Neill, Mimmo Scognamiglio and Giulio Tega.

The event also has a prestigious Committee of Honour: in addition to Flavio Albanese, Corrado Beldì, Daniel Bosser, Paolo Consolandi, Lieven Declerk, Ernesto Esposito, Giorgio Fasol, Alessandro Mendini and Giovanni Puglisi, it now also includes: Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and Pierluigi Cerri.
