The models that inspired the painting of Jean Michel Basquiat include the Batman comics, Superman, Popeye and...Mad. For the latter, the drafting of London's famous and irriverent magazine USA, gave Fulber Alfred E.Neuman's mascot in 1985. That same year beyond the ocean, Basquiat decorated a major new club in New York City, the Palladium, along with Sharf, Clemente and Haring.
