Simultanea Spazi d'Arte is a curatorial reality interested in linguistic diversity in all art that shows a free incoherence respect to the traditional concept of beautiful. So, from Florence to Berlin, we don't present an artistic group but an “Archipelago” because each artist is independent as an island but they are, together, linked by intellectual dialogue; there isn't a theme, they have been invited to express, freely, own artistic character...but with one democratic rule: the same number of the same size works! This opens a rich panorama of different accents in the encounter between artists working in reality often distant from each other, not only for the different geographical origin - not all are in fact Italian or resident in Italy - but especially by their different training experience and, therefore, expressive. The works range from painting to graphics, from photography to sculpture, in a blend of modernity and tradition that explains the often experimental reinterpretation of the long tradition of artistic genres, such as oil painting and engraving. The variety of technical and formal solutions match the variety of expressive intentions declined in the various meanings of the figurative realism or gestural and material abstraction. Reflecting the multidisciplinary art today their works bear witness to the great freedom with which the languages, techniques and materials are woven into the choral.
